He is a pass out of Xavier’s Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar. He started his early career in media planning at Madison Media, for 7 years, followed by 13 years at Group M, where he was Managing Director, South Asia at Maxus, CEO Asia Pacific at Maxus and Global President of Wavemaker based in London. He was also the Chief Commercial Officer at ShareChat and prior to rejoining Madison, he was the Head of Revenue – Entertainment & International at JioStar. At JioStar, he was a key voice shaping the future of TV media, Digital, Connected TV, Branded content, and driving brand growth narratives and immersive consumer experiences on the platforms.

An IIT Delhi and IIM Kolkata alumni, Vikram has over 38 years’ experience in Marketing (P&G, Coca Cola), Media (Star TV) and Advertising (Mindshare, Group M, Maxus WW, Madison). Prior to joining Madison World, he held the following positions, Global CEO Maxus Worldwide; Global Strategy Development Officer Group M; CEO GroupM South Asia; CEO Mindshare South Asia. In terms of current industry positions, he has recently been appointed as the Vice-Chairman at the Media Research Users Council of India (MRUC). Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the BARC Tech Committee, the IRS Tech Committee, and the IBDF-AAAI sub-committee. He is also the Co-Chairman of the ABC Council, a member of the AAAI Board, and a former President of the Ad Club Bombay.
